ANC Kinship Care Support Group
Are you raising a relative’s child? Caring for an elderly parent? The Kinship Care Support Group at ANC offers a safe place for you to:
- Share your concerns
- Make connections
- Enjoy snacks and free childcare while you meet and talk with other kinship families.
Kinship Care meets on the second Saturday of each month, from 1:30 to 3:30. Snacks and childcare are provided. For more information, call 367-2468; contact person is Francine Watts.
Youth Service Corps
This service program for youth ages 10-17 includes programs like Garden in a Box, restaurant sales, the Farmers Market, social justice projects, arts & entertainment events and more! Contact Neil at 999-3923 or neilb@allenneighborhoodcenter.org if you want to join in!
Wednesday Morning Senior Coffee
ANC and Tri-County Office on Aging host a weekly, Wednesday morning drop-in program for neighborhood seniors and other interested neighbors. Between 10 AM and 12 noon, folks are invited to come enjoy coffee, muffins, and a short program on a topic of interest to older neighbors.
