When you sign up for a Veggie Box, you're choosing to support the local food system as a whole. This model brings growers and eaters together into a mutually supportive community. Veggie Box keeps your grocery dollars local, and helps small-scale, sustainable farming exist as a viable way of life.

Each week, we purchase the best in-season produce from an array of local farmers, and pack it carefully into a box for pickup at the Allen Neighborhood Center. Each week's box includes a newsletter with recipes featuring that week’s produce, a farmer spotlight, educational information about our local food system, along with other tips and facts. We source from local, professional growers who utilize sustainable growing practices and stringent food safety measures to ensure a quality product. Veggie Box is not designed to be the cheapest food you can buy, but it is designed to be a reasonably affordable and convenient way to move towards local food systems that are rooted in equity and sustainability.
