Ari is our Food Hub Assistant at Allen Neighborhood Center. Ari has been volunteering at ANC's farmers market for the few years, was an Americorps member with us, and is very excited to continue being involved at ANC in greater capacity. Ari’s passion for improving food accessibility was sparked by her upbringing on an organic farm, which motivated her to earn a degree in Food Justice from Michigan State University. She hopes to strengthen local food systems, making healthy options more accessible for Lansing Eastside’s neighbors. Outside of ANC, Ari enjoys trying new recipes, painting, and going on nature walks.
